Meet Scarlett, our 2 year old Mastiff Mix Pet of the Week from the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society! Hi....I'm Scarlett (Insert smile, tail wag and then JUMP! here). I'm just a pup in a large dog body! I've spent a lot of time "growing up" here at the shelter which means my friends can tell you oh so much about me. First of all, I LOVE my people. I've got a few besties here but I'm accepting applications for more if you want to join my crew. Once you're in my circle, I promise to love you with my whole 85-pound self. Sometimes I may be a little overly enthusiastic, so I'd prefer an adult household. I love quiet, leisurely walks where I can sniff at my own pace. I'm very smart and food motivated-I've been working on my impulse control and would love to show you all my tricks. I'm a sensitive gal- so a patient family who can provide me with a stable and consistent calm environment with some positive reinforcement training would be grand. I may even like a canine or feline sibling. If you think you've got a space for a bold yet beautiful gal like me, ask my friends to set up a meeting.
