Today's Pick Me Up is so sweet! Imagine planning your special wedding for two years, only to have it fall apart at the last minute. That's what ALMOST happened to Patrick and Hannah Mahoney. This past Saturday they were set to be married on Thompson Island in the middle of Boston Harbor. Hannah and her bridesmaids took a ferry over. And then Patrick and his groomsmen were set to take the next one. BUT, then the ferry broke down and it was going to be awhile before the replacement ferry could make it. Enter the Boston Police on their boats. They saved the day for Patrick and Hannah, shuttling over not only Patrick and his groomsmen but the florist as well. And in the end, they had six minutes to spare. Patrick was grateful for the ride, but he said, even if the Police didn't show up, nothing would have stopped him from marrying his true love Hannah. He said he would've waited for low tide and then walked over to the Island. Sounds like a good start to forever. And a great story for the rest of their lives!
