Hard to believe, but it's the end of an era here in the Capital Region. Newschannel 13 Meteorologist Bob Kovachick, who has been on our airwaves since the 70's is retiring today. Bob is the Chief Meteorologist at Channel 13, but he has decided that now is the time to spend more of his energy with his family and friends. And who can blame him. Bob has been doing his thing for 50 years. Everyone knows Bob. And it's hard to believe that we won't be able to turn on our TV's and see him anymore, but he deserves to enjoy his retirement. Though Bob will stay on as a consultant for Newschannel 13 which means he may pop on from time to time. We wish him nothing but the best!
