This is kind of sad. Ted's Fish Fry will be closing their North Troy location this month. Their final day will be October 29th. It will be business as usual until then. That location has been open since November of 1962. I can remember being a kid who went to Catholic High in North Troy. We would sneak off campus and walk to Ted's Fish Fry to get some yummy food. It's sad that the location will be closed for good. Of course, other locations remain open, and Ted's is hoping that those of us who went to the North Troy store will head to Latham or Clifton Park to get our fish from now on . Ted's also said in a statement that they are hoping to open new Ted's across the Capital Region. But for now, we lose the location at 350 2nd Avenue in Troy. For me, it holds personal memories. It will be missed. But I'll still get my Fish Fry at Teds in Latham!
