I'm so sad about this. Longfellows Hotel and Restaurant in Saratoga will be closing it's doors for good in mid-January. Apparently it has been sold to someone who plans on turning into a resort of some kind. I know that sounds vague, but so far, that's all the information that has been released. That means all the people who had planned events at Longfellows, things like weddings, graduations, bar mitvah's and more will be out of luck. People will be scrambling to find new venues for all those events that were planned all through 2023.
I'm just sad because Longfellows was a place we would always go to for special occasions. Birthdays, anniversaries, things like that. I've been to many weddings there and always had a great time. The food was always amazing. I will definitely miss it.
Like I said, it will be open until mid-January so if you want one more meal at Longfellows, now is the time to make those reservations.
