There's always lots to do around the Capital Region on the weekends. And this Saturday it seems to be all about food. I'm okay with that. There are a few big events going on that you don't want to miss out on if you are a lover of good food:
First up, the Saratoga Chips and Beer Festival is happening at Brookside Museum in Ballston Spa. Secondly, don't forget the Bro Show happening at Rivers Casino with lots of opportunities for sampling foods and beverages. Then there's Wing Wars at the Franklin Terrace Ballroom in Troy with over 15 participating restaurants for wings, plus free pizza and desserts. There will also be the annual Charity Hike, which is really a pub crawl. Basically it takes you to four bars in downtown Albany to raise money for Camp Bravehearts. Free food, snacks, live music and more at each location. Oh and don't forget Saratoga's Annual Restaurant Week continues through tomorrow evening!
