Hard to believe but Elton John played his final U.S. show at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles last night. Elton filled the career spanning set list with hits like "Bennie and the Jets," "Crocodile Rock" and "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" which saw Kiki Dee come out and join him. He also performed duets with Dua Lipa and Brandi Carlile before taking his final bow with "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road." A number of famous names shared messages to Elton before the show, including President Biden who thanked the singer for his activism that he said "saved countless lives." We aired the final song here on 98.3 TRY and of course, it was on Disney Plus last night as it happened at around 1am. Before the final song, he left us with this message, "I wish you health and love, prosperity. Be kind to each other, okay? and Farewell" Then he went into his final song , Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, which you can watch below!
