Today's 98.3 TRY social dilemma came from Ashley, and I can relate. Here's her email. Hi Jaime. Thanks for the great Christmas music everyday! I had a conversation with some friends and I was hoping you could bring it up as your social dilemma. A bunch of us were talking about Christmas shopping and how far along we were on our lists, and I made a joke that I've already bought the most important gifts, the ones for Max and Ronnie, my dogs, and Molly my cat. We were all laughing but one of my buddies, Carly, asked if I really bought gifts for my pets. And I said of course I do. Not only that, but Santa brings them gifts as well. She thought it was ridiculous. Her thinking was the dog and cats don't know it's Christmas so why buy them gifts. They're well taken care of all year round. And I said I believed they do know about Christmas because they give their love unconditionally. There's nothing more Christmas like than that! And because we love them, they deserve gifts. We wrap them and put them under the tree, and yes, they open them on Christmas morning with us too. Well there were about seven of us, and three of the people were with Carly, and two agreed with me about getting gifts for your furry family. So please use this as your dilemma. Do you buy your pets Christmas or Hannakah gifts? I'm sure you do Jaime. I would bet on it. I'll be listening.
