The last concert of 2022 for Billy Joel has been canceled. Joel announced the cancellation yesterday on Instagram and has been advised to rest his voice. “I must postpone my Monday, December 19th concert at Madison Square Garden to June,” the notice posted to social media reads in part. We certainly wish Billy the best of health and hope that he gets better soon!! A spokesperson for Joel gave an additional update on his website, saying that all tickets for tonight’s concert “will be honored on Friday, June 2nd, 2023, and will not need to be exchanged.” The statement also notes that the June 2nd show may be rescheduled “if it conflicts with a playoff game.” See the full tweet below.
