I spent some time over the weekend finishing up the Harry and Meghan docu-series on Netflix. I did find it interesting, though a bit too long. It was six episodes. I came away feeling bad for them. And when you see how the British tabloids really attacked Meghan, it's hard to understand why. Was it because she was American? Was it because she was bi-racial? There were definitely racist papers and it was disgusting to see. But the fact that the tabloids went after them when the people clearly didn't feel the same way. It didn't make sense to me. But what did make sense was Harry's choice to step down from his royal duties when he saw his wife in such turmoil. The two of them decided to raise their family elsewhere. I get it. I just hope for the family's sake that they are able to get on solid ground with his brother and father again. No one ever wants a family to be torn apart, royal or otherwise.
