Big TV news to tell you about this morning. First up, Dr. Phil is saying goodbye to his TV show after 21 seasons. This is it for him and the show will end in the Spring.
Some reboots to tell you about too. First up, Matlock. Remember that show with Andy Griffith? Well it's coming back on CBS but with Kathy Bates as the lead and it will be a bit more contemporary, as is expected. Another reboot on Hulu is the animated comedy King of the Hill with most of the original cast returning.
And last but not least, if you're watching the HBO Max series, The Last of Us, then you know this past Sunday's episode featured the Linda Ronstadt song Long, Long Time. First with two of the characters singing it, and then during the end credits. Because of that, the song is back on the charts and is getting renewed airplay. It's kind of like what happened with Kate Bush's Running Up that Hill after it was featured on Stranger Things. I think this couldn't happen to a better person. That song is beautiful and it's nice to hear Linda Ronstadt under any circumstances. Check out the video below.
