This is such shocking news that broke overnight. The TV show Yellowstone which stars Kevin Costner, Wes Bentley, Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly and more may very well be ending this summer. According to Deadline, a very reputable Hollywood insider website, Kevin Costner no longer wants to spend his time filming the show. He is in the process of working on his own western saga that he wrote and will star in called Horizon. Because of that, Kevin has said that he will only film Yellowstone for one week this year. That is certainly not enough time to get a season's worth of John Dutton. So creator Taylor Sheridan is on the verge of ending Yellowstone this summer, but continuing the Dutton family saga in a new show that would star Matthew McConaughey. Some of the stars from the original Yellowstone would move on to that show, but no word yet as to exactly which characters that would be. I'm upset by this. I love the show Yellowstone. It's such a good western soap opera, and Kevin Costner is the glue that holds it together. So what do you think? Would you be done with the Yellowstone universe if Kevin Costner leaves?
