This is exciting news! We have so many outdoor sports and activities here in upstate New York, but we have never had a Bass Pro Shop here, but that's going to change! Bass Pro Shops has announced that they will be opening a store in Clifton Park in 2024!! The store will be at the former site of Northstar Chevrolet on Clifton Park Center Road. Obviously we have so many people who enjoy outdoor activities like fishing, camping, hunting and so much more. With the Adirondacks as our next door neighbor, it makes perfect sense for Bass to open here. Along with all of the equipment, clothing and everything needed for outdoor activities, the store will also have a large aquarium with native fish species to this area. Up to now, the closest Bass Pro Shop was in Utica! I'm excited about the new store! Plus it will open up jobs for over 100 people. Good news all around!!
