Meet Elijah, 1 and a half year old male pit mix He wants to tell you about himself! Hey! I'm Elijah! It may take me a little time to warm up, but when I do, I can't wait to show you my goofy self. Once we get to know each other, I will seek out affection from you. Right now I prefer to dine/play with my things alone, but I am learning to share. I can feel overwhelmed around children and would be best in a teen/adult home. I may enjoy the company of a canine sibling.
Elijah is one of our lucky dogs that is part of our Behavior and Enrichment program. This means that there is a three-week trial period for you and for Elijah. During this time you will have a direct contact with a staff member for any questions or concern. As you can see from his pictures, Elijah is a sweet, beautiful boy.
