Today's 98.3 TRY Social Dilemma actually came in before our last snowstorm, but it's appropriate to use it today. Here's the email: Hi Jaime. This is a quick dilemma that I got in to an argument with a coworker about it. I think it's okay to call in sick when you know a big storm is coming. She said that it's a lie and unethical, and it's not how you should use sick days. I think I can use my time off anyway I see fit. So I'm curious what others think. Would you call in sick on a snow day, or is it unethical? Thanks so much. ~ Cindy. Hmmm, that is tough. I think it's okay to call out on a snow day. No one wants to risk their life to get into work, but I think I would call the day before and say I wasn't coming in instead of surprising everyone with a sick day call. That's just my take.
