Meet Buddy, Our Sweet Pet of the Week & Get the Scoop on the Kitten Shower

Meet Buddy, a 4yo male pit mix looking for his forever home from the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society. Are you looking for a new Buddy? Look no further because my name happens to be Buddy! I prefer to dine/play with my things alone, but I am willing to learn how to share. Since I enjoy my things, I would thrive in a teen/adult home. I know how to sit and give paw, but since I am so food motivated, training will be a cinch! I have played with dogs here at the shelter, so if there are other dogs at home, I just want to make sure they match my play style. There’s one thing about me though. I am part of the CrossRoads Program here at MHHS. This means that I may be towards the end of my life. The people at MHHS believe that all pets deserve to know love and a home, and I agree! Coming up a week from Saturday on April 8th, it's the big Kitten Shower at the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society!! It's from noon to 3pm and it's perfect for the whole family! Bring an item off of our kitten wishlist and you will get a door prize The afternoon will be filled with a bake sale, raffle AND auction, stuffed animal adoptions, crafts for you AND the future kittens at MHHS, a supply drive and oh! Kittens of course! This is NOT an adoption event. Just like how Baby Showers don't give away babies, we are not giving away kittens. Before 2023 is through, we will care for upwards of 700 kittens. And last but far from least, don't forget about the Pride Pawrade! Join the Pride Center of the Capital Region and Mohawk Hudson Humane Society for the 2nd Annual Pride PAWrade!!!
