Okay, so with the beautiful weather, I was inspired to try something I've never tried before. I have had gardens in the past, but always from plants that I have purchased. I've never started with just seeds. But this year, I thought, let's try something new. So on Saturday I went out and bought some seeds, a seedling case to sow them in, and a greenhouse shelf. Like I said, the last time I planted anything from a seed was in elementary school when we took old milk cartons and planted a few seeds in them in the classroom and hoped that they would grow. So this was all new to me. But I watched a few YouTube videos and went to town. Ultimately I ended up planting tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, onions (those had to go outside), summer squash, basil and spearmint. I followed the instructions (something I don't usually do) and now my seeds are sitting on the greenhouse shelf near the window in the living room. They're supposed to sprout in 7-10 days and soon after that will be ready to move into a little bigger pot. My fingers are crossed that it works. If you have any advice at all, I'd be thrilled to get it. I want my experiment to be a success so I'll take any and all help. Thank you so much. I'll make sure I let you know how it's going along the way!
