Two Shows Cancelled Over the Weekend! One Was a Real Shocker!

The last few days in Hollywood brought some carnage to television as networks announced a number of cancelled shows. And it’s a tale of two series, as two major networks gave two very different reasons for giving their shows the ax. Fox sitcom “Call Me Kat” was shown the door following the finale of its third season. The Mayim Bialik-led show, which suffered the mid-season loss of lovable regular Leslie Jordan, was cancelled following a ratings slump. According to reports, the series dropped 38% in viewership from season two.

Meanwhile, CBS dropped the hammer on “S.W.A.T.” despite increasing viewership. The network announced that, even though the Shemar Moore and Timothy Hutton-starring series rose by .41 million viewers when it moved to Friday night, the upcoming finale of season six would be the show’s last. CBS credits the cancellation after a new deal reached with partner, Sony Studios, would have made the show too expensive to produce. Star Shemar Moore is not happy about it and took to Instagram to ask fans to let CBS know that this is a mistake and that the show deserves a seventh season so that they can say a proper goodbye.

Which of these two shows will you miss more?
