Such sad news this morning. Actor Treat Williams, who spent lots of time here in the Capital Region, has passed away after a motorcycle accident near his home in Vermont. He was 71. Treat was known for his roles in the movie adaptation of Hair, and the TV show Everwood. He was also in Prince of the City and 1941. And he recently had made appearances on Blue Bloods and in several Hallmark movies and series. Along with his acting, he was a pilot. You may remember he came to the Albany Airport and cooked breakfast for the TSA workers when they weren't getting paid due to a government standstill. I admit, I kind of fell in love with him the first time I saw Hair back in 1979. And I followed his career ever since. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. He will be missed. Godspeed Treat Williams.
