It's the end of an era: 76-year-old Pat Sajak is retiring as the host of "Wheel of Fortune". The 41st season that starts in September will be his last. But he'll be sticking around as a consultant for three years after. He says, quote, "Well, the time has come. I’ve decided that our 41st season, which begins in September, will be my last, It’s been a wonderful ride, and I’ll have more to say in the coming months. Many thanks to you all." Sajak joined the game show with co-host Vanna White in 1981. There has been no word as of this writing on who will replace Sajak- or if Vanna will stay too- but one exec shared plans for Sajak’s departure. “We look forward to celebrating (Pat’s) outstanding career throughout the upcoming season," said executive vice president of game shows for Sony Pictures Television, Suzanne Prete.
So who do you think should replace Pat? Any idea? Let me know what you think on the TRY Facebook page.
