Today's 98.3 TRY Social Dilemma came from Cindy and it's about baby showers. Here's her email: Hi Jaime: Can you talk about this on the Social Dilemma....I have been invited to a baby shower. OK, fine. But this woman already had a baby shower for her first child, which I attended and gave a very expensive gift and sat and faked smiled for three hours while she opened a pile of endless gifts....I thought you only had a baby shower once. Did the rules change? This feels a little greedy....and by the way, I love this woman. I just don't particularly like the whole baby shower thing and this feels a little like double dipping.....Can you ask your listeners what they think? Thanks so much ~ Cindy. Well, I wouldn't put it the same way Cindy did, but as far as I knew, the baby shower was for the first baby. And then on the second if your family and friends choose to give something, great, but it wasn't a specific shower. Am I wrong about this? Did the rules change?
