Today's 98.3 TRY Social Dilemma came from Ella and it's about a haunted house. Here's her email. Hi Jaime. I have a weird dilemma. Ever since we moved into our old Victorian home, weird things have been happening. Lights flicker, doors close on their own, and sometimes we hear strange noises. It's not menacing at all. If anything, the ghost is nice. Once I found a misplaced earring on my dresser, and another time, I came into my bedroom to find the radio on one of my favorite songs. None of this bothers us, but I told my friends about our friendly ghost and they’ve been teasing me relentlessly. My husband kind of backs me up but I don't think he believes as strongly as I do. Should I be mad at my friends for doubting me, or should I just know what I know and not care about them and their thoughts. Help me out. How do I convince them. Thanks ~ Ella. Well, I don't know if Ella can convince them unless they experience something themselves and even then, who knows. But as I get a little bit older, I realize, life is less about caring what other people think, and more about caring about what you think of yourself. Ella knows what she knows and that should be enough. But she doesn't need to cut off her friends because they don't believe. That's my take anyway. What do you think?
