Our friends at the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society are in a crisis situation again. It was just over the summer when it happened before, and now they find themselves in the same situation. The Humane Society is equipped to house 85 dogs. Yet right now they have 146 dogs in their care. They're using every nook and cranny of the Shelter to house the pups. If you've been thinking about adopting, now is the time to do it. For the rest of the month, Mohawk Hudson has a "name your price adoption fee" in effect. The minimum fee is $50, and they you can add to that to help offset the cost of caring for the dogs. Each dog's care is over $800. If you can help in anyway, with adoptions, with donations, please do. And please spread the word. Let's get these pups and kitties and all the animals their forever home for the holidays.
