Today's 98.3 TRY Social Dilemma came from Lorraine and it's about Thanksgiving invitations. Here's her email: Hi Jaime. I'm recently divorced after 23 years of marriage. It's my first Thanksgiving alone in a long time. I’ve received an invitation from my sister and her family to join them for Thanksgiving. I’m grateful to be thought of, but I don't want to spend the day with a big family and lots of noise. The truth is, I just want to stay home in my sweats and watch TV and eat junk food all day. My family thinks that means I'm depressed, but I'm actually just enjoying the idea of doing whatever I want, something I haven't felt in a long time. Do you think it's rude of me to stay home and not attend my sister's Thanksgiving? Thanks so much ~ Lorraine I think Lorraine has earned the right to stay home if that's what she wants. I understand how she feels. I would hope her sister would too. What do you think? Go to dinner at her sisters or hang at home? Let's help her out and let me know on the TRY Facebook page.
