Today's 98.3 TRY Social Dilemma came from Steven and it's about Christmas lights. Here's his email: Hi Jaime. I'm having an issue with my neighbor and hope you can help. So I put up my lights over the weekend because isn't that what you do on Thanksgiving weekend? Anyway my neighbor hates that I put the lights up, in his words, so early, and texted me that because I have my lights up his wife wants him to put up his. Now I didn’t turn my lights on yet and didn’t plan on doing it until Monday (11/27) but again my neighbor asked me to wait till December 1st to turn them on. This is our first year living on the block and I don’t want to annoy my neighbors but I really want to put my lights on now so what should I do? Should I tell him first or just do it? Why should I have to keep my lights off because he doesn’t want them on yet? This is kind of ridiculous. Help me out. Thanks ~ Steven I say turn those lights on. Why wait until the 1st? Who made all the rules about Christmas lights. I put mine on before Thanksgiving. So did many in my neighborhood. If it makes you happy, turn them on. That's what I say. What do you think?
