Today's 98.3 TRY Social Dilemma is about tipping for the holidays. Here's the email: Hi Jaime. Now that I’m a homeowner, I am learning all kinds of things I’d never even thought of while being an apartment dweller. One of them is the list of people that I’m supposed to tip over the holidays. I’m hearing neighbors talk about the mail carriers, garbagemen, meter readers, and God knows who else. I need to hear from those more experienced than myself on these manners. What, exactly, are the tipping protocols for the people who routinely visit my property with various services…and how much is that tip supposed to be? Help me out Thanks ~ Paul I always give a gift to my mail carrier and garbagemen, but that's pretty much it. I don't know my meter reader or anyone else like that. My mailman and garbageman I know on a first name basis so I want them to know I appreciate them. What do you think? In terms of home ownership, who should you give a gift too? Let's help Paul out and let me know what you think on the TRY Facebook page.
