Today's Pet of the Week is Genesis!!! He's a two year old pit mix at the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society and wants to meet you!! "Hello out there to all my adoring fans, the name's Genesis and while I may not be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame like my namesake, I sure am in the Good Boy Hall of Fame (if I do say so myself). Let me tell you why: First of all, I Know What I Like. What is that, you ask? Well, treats! They certainly do have a Hold On My Heart. That's (not) All, though. I think people are pretty great too, especially if they have those treats and happen to give some to me. Listen, I don't want there to be any Misunderstanding: I Can't Dance, but I can definitely show you some of my neat tricks! I happen to know sit and down and I would love to learn more if you're willing to teach me in Your Own Special Way. Okay, maybe I'm going In Too Deep. Basically, I think I would thrive in a loving, active home with older kids, if there are any. I think I would be open to the idea of sharing the stage with a fellow canine companion as long as we can do a rehearsal - er, I mean meet and greet, first to be sure there is enough room in the spotlight for us both to shine.
