Today's 98.3 TRY Social Dilemma is about vacations and friendship. Here's the email: Hi Jaime. this is so crazy. I’ve officially experienced my first foray into the world of what feels like cattiness. Over the weekend, my wife and I had some friends over, and I overheard the ladies talking about vacation wishes. My wife’s friend started talking about wanting to go to Iceland, and my wife sounded amazed and astounded. So, I took the cue and booked us for a trip next month to see the Northern Lights. My wife was floored, and I thought I had a big win…until she told her friend. Now, they’re not speaking to each other because my wife has been accused of “stealing” the vacation. Last I checked, Iceland was still there. Is there any way to thaw this one out and get these two talking again? I would tell them both they’re being silly…but I don’t want to get yelled at. Hope you can help. Thanks ~ Clint. This is silly. I've heard of arguments like this before but I didn't think they really happened. Guess they do. There's enough room in Iceland for everyone. Especially since it seems to be the place to go lately. I've had three different friends go within the past six months, and another leaves a week from Saturday.
