Todays 98.3 TRY Social Dilemma came from Rose and it's about breaking up with a friend. Here's the email: Hi Jaime. I have a very real question. How do you break up with a friend. I feel like my friend and I have nothing in common anymore. She has turned into a person who is so negative about everything. I've tried to talk with her about it, but she just thinks there is something wrong with every little thing. I love her but I don't think I can be around her anymore. Her negativity is taking a toll on me. I've offered to help, I've offered her the names of therapists, but she's not interested. She thinks she's right about everything and I don't know what to do. I don't want to hurt her feelings, but I can't do this anymore. How do you break up with a friend? Hope you can help. Thanks ~ Rose. This is sad, but I understand how Rose feels. You can only do so much to help a friend if they aren't interested. If it was me, I would say, I can't handle the negativity anymore, but I love you and if you change your mind about wanting help, I'm here for you. What would you do? Let's help Rose out and let me know on the TRY Facebook page.
