Today's 98.3 TRY Social Dilemma came from Marsha and it's about a dating situation. Here's her email: Good morning Jaime. I had something happen on a date this past weekend and I need some input. I was out on a third date with someone, but it was our first “dinner date”. So he picked the restaurant and told me it was his favorite place to eat. It was a really nice place and I was excited as soon as we got inside and sat down, that’s until the waitress came over. As soon as the waitress came over to give us our menus my date told her we didn’t need them and proceeded to order for me. He said “Trust Me I Come Here All The Time”. The only thing I ordered was my drink. I was really annoyed that he ordered for me and I don’t know why I didn’t speak up but I didn’t. Then the food came and it was amazing which even annoyed me more. He was right, he ordered an amazing meal and everything was perfect. Now I’m torn, should I tell him to never order for me again or should I trust him to order for me? What do you think ~ Marsha. I understand Marsha being annoyed, but maybe he was just trying to give her a nice experience at a place he really loved. And since the food was good, I wouldn't be that annoyed. But I would have said, this turned out well, but I hope you won't order for me at every restaurant. If he said he would, that would be a dealbreaker for me, but if he said it was just because he knew the food and what was good, I could accept that. What do you think?
