Today's 98.3 TRY Social Dilemma came from Alexis and it's about a tough work environment. Here's her email: Hi Jaime. We have some drama at work. A particular group of my coworkers love to gossip. Recently, I overheard them talking about another coworker, let’s call her Sarah. I know for a fact that what the gossipers were saying about Sarah isn’t true and it’s pretty mean. I'm friends with Sarah, and I want to defend her, but I definitely don’t want to become the next target of office gossip if I do. Should I speak up to defend my friend or stay out of it to protect myself from the workplace drama? What would you do? Thanks so much ~ Alexis. Well, I would definitely say something. I wouldn't be mean, but I would definitely stand up for my friend. Gossip only hurts if people believe it, and it's important, I think, to let these people know that no one believes it. That's my take anyway, what do you think? Let's help Alexis out and let me know on the TRY Facebook page.
