Today's 98.,3 TRY Social Dilemma came from Jerrianne and it's about her cat and her boyfriend. Here's her email: Hi Jaime. I'm having a real issue and I'm not quite sure what to do about it. I'm 46 years old and have been dating a man I like for about eleven months. We've always stayed at his house when we've had sleepovers, but now we're talking about moving in together. My place is bigger so it makes more sense to move into it. But there's one glitch. He doesn't like my cat. He's not allergic, he just doesn't like him. The cat isn't mean to him, the cat just kind of ignores him, but that's because he rarely comes to my house. He says he doesn't want to move in together unless I get rid of my cat. Now my cat, Panther have been together for almost eight years and I can't imagine my life without him. But I really do love this man. What do I do? Hope you can help. Thanks so much ~ Jerrianne I feel bad for Jerrianne. It's a tough spot to be in, but I believe that someone that loves you would NEVER ask you to give up something that means so much to you. Personally, and this may be because I'm an animal lover, I don't think it's fair at all for him to ask Jerrianne to choose. That alone would make me question the relationship.
