Today's 98.3 TRY Social Dilemma came from Barbara. Here's the email: Hi Jaime. I have a question. My husband and I are renewing our wedding vows with a big party in April. Now I am friends with most of my office coworkers, so of course I'm going to invite them to the party. However, I'm not a fan of my boss. She's overbearing, often tries to take credit where she doesn't deserve it, says inappropriate things and is generally not a kind person. I know I have to work for her, but if I invite everyone else in the office, do I have to invite her to the wedding renewal. Some friends say yes, others say no. So I thought I would ask you. Hope you can help. Thanks so much ~ Barbara. It's a tough call. The truth is, she'll find out that everyone went to the party but her, so are you willing to take any retribution and snide comments that might come your way. That being said, since it's a party to celebrate you and your husband, the last thing you want is someone who wouldn't be appropriately happy for the two of you, so I say, don't invite her.
