Today's 98.3 TRY Social Dilemma came from Claire and it's about a neighbor. Here's her email. Hi Jaime. I recently got a note on my door from one of my neighbors who shall remain nameless, though if she listens, she'll know who I'm talking about. Anyway, this is the note that was left for me: "Hi Claire, Just a gentle reminder to please close your windows when cooking meat.As a vegan runner, it is always hard for me.when I run by your house at dinner time.When you are cooking with the windows open the smell of meat can be quite overpowering. Honestly the odor is offensive. Please be kind and think of those of us who only eat plant based food and don't open the windows when cooking meat. Thank you." I was so upset to get the note, and then I thought, what is this neighbor going to do when I start grilling? I thought it was an overstep to leave the note. What do you think? Thanks ~ Claire. Well, I certainly would never leave a note like that for a neighbor, but I guess it's okay to ask the question as long as you don't get upset if the answer is no. With the warmer weather coming, more and more our windows will be open. Maybe Claire's neighbor needs to find a new path to run on. What do you think?
