Today's 98.3 TRY Social Dilemma is about dating...in your 80's. Here's the email: Hi Jaime. My name is Ashley and I’m 17 years old and a really big fan of the show because I listen with my parents and grandfather. So recently my grandpa moved in with us, my grandmother passed away three years ago and my mom wanted him with us, which is great. I love having him around he’s the best and I look forward to talking to him every day. There’s just one thing. Yesterday he asked me if I’d put a dating app on his phone because he wants a girlfriend. He’s 82 years old and looks good for his age but I never pictured him dating. I told him to let me research what the best dating app for him would be then I’d put it on his phone. He said he didn't ask my mom because he was afraid she might be upset. I really want to tell my mom and get her opinion but I don’t want her to get mad, and I think my grandfather should be able to date if he wants to. What should I do? Should I tell my mom or just put a dating app on his phone and see what happens? Thanks for the help! ~ Ashley First off, I love that Ashley listens with her mom and grandfather. Secondly, I think I would just put the app on the phone. Grandpa is a grown man who can make his own decisions. That's my take anyway. What do you think?
