Social Dilemma: Can I Bail On Friend's BIG Party to Go to a Concert?

Today's 98.3 TRY Social Dilemma came from Danny and it's about having a conflict with plans. Here's the email: Hi Jaime. I am having a problem. One of my best friends is having a big anniversary party this summer for he and his wife to celebrate 30 years together. I have backed his plan all along, helped him figure it out and even helped find a venue for him. I think it's a great idea. BUT, I just found out the date of the party and it's the same date I have tickets to see Bruce Springsteen in Philadelphia. I didn't get to see him here, so I bought really good seats in Philly and am going to make it a fun weekend trip. How horrible of a friend am I if I bail on the big party and go see Bruce? I would hope my friend would understand, but I've been so involved in everything, I don't want to let him down. What would you do? I love a good party, but anniversaries, in my opinion, are more for the people who are married than the people outside of it all. What do you think?
