Today's 98.3 TRY Social Dilemma came from Nicole and it's about whether her parents are being unkind to her. Here's the email: Hi Jaime. I have two more years of college left and this week my parents told me they are selling our house and moving to the suburbs. They said I can move with them, but then I would have to commute into the city for school. I’m super bummed because this is going to make my life so much more complicated. I tried to explain this to them, but they don’t get how much more difficult it will be for me to finish school if I have to pay rent in the city or spend more than 10 hours a week driving to school. I told them they should wait two years before they move, and that they're being selfish not thinking of how this affects me. They said I'm being selfish. What do you think? Thanks for the help ~ Nicole. I don't think Nicole is going to like my answer. I think Nicole is being selfish. There's come a time when we all have to grow up and figure things out for ourselves.
