Social Dilemma: Does Swimming In the Pool Count as A Bath for the Kids?

Today's 98.3 TRY Social Dilemma came from Sally. It's about swimming and kids. Here's her email: Hi Jaime. I recently saw a social media post about a mom who joked about not bathing her kids on days that they go swimming. But the truth is, I follow that rule It's hard enough to get kids in the tub, so when they're in the pool, I'll throw in a bar of soap and tell them to wash up. It's fun for them and I think they get clean. Well, I've gotten lots of blowback from friends and family members who are telling me there is no way that the kids are clean after being in the pool and I'm being a bad mom. There's chlorine, bugs, and all kinds of things, but I think with the soap, they're fine. And they still get a regular bath on days they're not in the pool. So do you think the kids are clean after washing off in the pool or am I being a "bad mom." Help me out. Thanks ~ Sally. I think Sally is a fine mom. Is it the best way to get clean, no, but they're kids and they're playing and I don't think it's a big deal, especially since they are also getting regular baths. I think it's fine. What about you? Let's help Sally out and let me know on the TRY Facebook page.
