Today's 98.3 TRY Social Dilemma came from Steve and it's about his relationship with his girlfriend and his relationship with his parents. Here's his email: Hey Jaime, I need a little advice this morning. So I’m 25 and started dating a 40-year-old woman who looks like she’s 25. We met at the gym and she’s incredible, she’s divorced and has a 14-year-old daughter. Things are actually getting serious with us and I want my parents to meet her but she wants me to tell my parents she’s 33 not 40. She thinks it will take the sting out of the fact that she has a 14-year-old daughter on top of everything. I’ve never really lied to my parents on such a high level before and feel really weird about it. I keep telling myself if we break up then I can tell them the truth or if we get married then I can tell them the truth either way it will be ok in the end. So what do you think? Should I be honest now or honest later? Thanks for the help ~ Steve I say be honest now. Steve is 25 years old and can do whatever he likes. If he wants to date an older woman, it's up to him. That's my take anyway. What do you think? Let's help Steve out and let me know on the TRY Facebook page.
