Today's 98.3 TRY Social Dilemma came from Mark and it's about dating. Here's his email: Hi Jaime. I'm back out on the dating scene after having been married for awhile and now divorced. I had a really great first date with a woman I met through a dating app. We hit it off and I asked her if she’d like to go out again. She said she’d love to, but wants to bring her 13-year-old daughter along. I said we could schedule the date for another time if she needs to be with her daughter, but she said that she wants her daughter to meet me because how well I get along with her is important to her in figuring out if we can continue dating. Is this weird? It makes me feel a little uncomfortable. Should I agree and just see how it goes or risk upsetting her by telling her that I’m not comfortable with meeting her daughter yet? Hope you can help me out. I'm new to dating in this decade. Thanks so much ~ Mark. I understand the woman wanting her daughter to meet Mark but maybe not so early in the relationship. I think the woman is pushing things a bit. If I was Mark, I would explain that I enjoy the woman's company but maybe they should wait until a few more dates to get other family members involved and see what happens. That's my take. What do you think? Let's help Mark out and let me know on the TRY Facebook page.
