Today's 98.3 TRY Social Dilemma came from Ken and it's about his daughter and what is okay and what's not. Here's his email: Hi Jaime. We have a 14 year old daughter and have tried to be understanding because I know that's a very tough age. Her mother and I have been pretty lenient with the style of clothes she wears and with make up and getting her ears pierced, but now she wants to dye her hair purple! I know that's trendy, but I think it's one step too far for a 14 year old. I said absolutely not! She's not happy with me! I'd love to hear some opinions from other parents dealing with kids who want to mess with their appearance.. Thanks Jaime! ~ Ken. Well I have to say that I would let her die her hair purple. I wouldn't take her to a salon and pay $100 or more for it, but you can buy it in a box for $12 and let her go to town. If it doesn't look good, it's an easy fix, and who is it hurting if her hair is purple. That's my take anyway. What do you think? Let's help Ken out and let me know on the TRY Facebook page.
