I'm a bit late to this party, I'll admit. I rarely ever watch television shows in real-time. Most are either streamed on-demand or DVR'd. This would fall into category #2. Though it's less than a week old, so that's not too late!
Last weekend, CBS Sunday Morning aired their annual "Hail and Farewell" tribute to those we lost the previous year. They always do a great job with this feature, but I was especially moved by this year's. First, the segment is 22 minutes long...WITHOUT commercials! That's soooooo rare on commercial television. It is about as complete as one could hope for, much less expect. But what REALLY stood out to me is the incredible way they pieced this together. There's an intricate threading from one person to the next. I can't even imagine how long it took to write and produce!
OK, now that I've built up your expectations, watch this amazing work from Young Kim, Steven Tyler, and Lee Cowan at CBS. I was blown away.
