It's been a Nashville tradition long before our city was the "it" place to be. The Gerst Haus has been serving delicious German food since 1955. I remember as a child eating there in the 70's in their original location. (They had to relocate when the Titans stadium was built back in the late 90's.) Unfortunately they have decided to close their doors later this month. Mostly due to competition from a lot of new restaurants in the area. I always hate to see legendary music city business close and I will miss the Gerst Haus.
